K1D, A 26-year-old MC with Senegalese roots is not a stranger to anyone that has been watching Belgian hip-hop closely. He has been very active in the underground scene, while dropping music now and then. In 2016 K1D has done support-acts for several artists such as Rejjie Snow, Kirk Knight, Jazz Cartier, Russ and already has more performances lined up.

Furthermore, he has been a guest-artist on the Woodie Smalls “Join the Parade-Tour” and together they have performed over 100 shows this year. From festivals such as ‘Couleur Café’, ‘Les Ardentes’, ‘Dour’, ‘Pukkelpop’, ‘Laundry Day’ in Belgium, to international showcases such as ‘SXSW’ (Texas/USA), ‘MaMA festival’ (FR), ‘Best Kept Secret’, ‘Woo-Hah!’ & ‘Lowlands’ (NL).

With everything in a motion; an EP titled “HIGH HOPES” containing 7 brand new tracks and a record deal with Sony Music Belgium, the stars are aligned and the only focus is to leave a mark on Belgian hip-hop and music in general.

K1D has been perfecting his flow and style over the past years and raps about various subjects as he describes himself: “I rap about my everyday life, the people and the world we are all living in, that’s an endless topic to me”. 808’s and baselines made by in-house producers complete the canvas.

This year K1D will introduce himself to the people and is anxious for you to enjoy the upcoming music, videos and performances.
